Yarn godown, textile mill gutted in two separate fire incidents in Karachi
According to rescue sources, no loss of life was reported in both incidents of fire.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A yarn warehouse and a textile mill were gutted in two separate fire incidents in Karachi on late Monday night, Dunya News reported.
In the first incident, the fire broke out in yarn godown located in Gulbai area of Karachi. Seven fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and brought the fire under control after a hectic effort of four hours.
In the second incident, fire erupted in a textile mill located in Site Seamen Chourangi. Three fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and brought the fire under control.
According to rescue sources, no loss of life was reported in both incidents. However, yarn and cloth and other valuables worth millions of rupees were gutted by the blaze.
