ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday said that he cannot turn a blind eye to the plight of the people and revealed that Karachi Transformation Plan will be finalized in this week after consultation with all stakeholders.
According to details, Ministry for Planning briefed the premier in detail about “Karachi Transformation Plan”- which has been formulated keeping in view the developmental needs of the city- during a meeting which was also attended by federal minister Asad Umar, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail and Chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Lt. Gen Muhammad Afzal.
On the occasion, PM Imran Khan said that progress of the country is linked to the development of Karachi and he is full aware of the problems faced by the people of the city over the years. He also assured that Centre will play its due role for development of Karachi.
On the other hand, Federal Minister for Information Senator Shibli Faraz on Monday said that federal government and its departments are providing all possible support to Sindh government after heavy rains in the province.
Shibli Faraz, in a tweet today, said that people of Quaid-e-Azam’s city are being tested after heavy rains and sympathies of entire nation are with them.
