Coronavirus claims four lives in Pakistan, infects 264 in one day

280,547 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country so far

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan has on Sunday reported four deaths by novel coronavirus during the last 24 hours. The number of positive cases has surged to 295,636. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 6,288.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 264 persons have been tested positive for COVID-19 in 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Sindh remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

Till now 129,268 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 96,741 in Punjab, 36,017 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 12,842 in Balochistan, 15,611 in Islamabad, 2,863 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 2,294 in Azad Kashmir.



Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 2,603,129 coronavirus tests and 21,434 in last 24 hours. 280,547 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 601 patients are in critical condition.
