Nation observes Muharram 9, pays homage to Hazrat Imam Hussain
Elaborate security arrangements have been made to avoid any untoward incident.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The 9th of Muharram is being observed throughout the country on Saturday with due solemnity and sanctity to pay homage to the sacrifice rendered by Hazrat Imam Hussain (Razi Allah-ho Tala Anho) and his companions in Karbala.
Taazia and Zuljinah processions are being taken out in different parts of the country today in memory of martyrs of Karbala. Ulema and Zakireen are shedding light on the bright and candid teachings of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his great companions.
Elaborate security arrangements have been made to avoid any untoward incident during the mourning processions. Special traffic plan for the processions of 9th of Muharram-ul-Haram has also been chalked out.
ISLAMABAD
In Islamabad, the main procession of Taazia and Zuljinah was taken out from Markazi Imambargah G-6/2 and it will terminate at the same place after passing through the traditional route.
LAHORE
In Lahore, the main procession of 9th Muharram-ul-Haram was taken out from Pando Street, Islampura which after passing through different areas including Khaima-e-Saadat will finish at starting point in the evening.
KARACHI
In Karachi processions of 9th Muharram-ul-Haram were taken out from various parts of the city while the main procession was taken out from Nishtar Park Karachi this afternoon is passing through its traditional route and will conclude at Imambargah-e-Iranian Hussaini at Maghrib time.
HYDERABAD
In Hyderabad, the central procession started from Qadam Gah Moula Ali (Razi Allah Tala Anho) and will be culminated at Karbala Dadan Shah in the evening.
PESHAWAR
In Peshawar, the main procession taken out this morning from Imambargah Hussainia Hall, Saddar Road is heading on its tradition routes in the city.
