Imran Khan should resign if Nawaz Sharif cheated to go abroad: Ahsan Iqbal
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal said that Nawaz Sharif s treatment was a non-issue which was being made an issue to hide government’s incompetence. If Nawaz Sharif cheated to go abroad, then Imran Khan should resign.
In a press conference with PML-N Punjab spokesperson Uzma Zahid Bukhari in Model Town Lahore, Ahsan Iqbal said that the government has done politics over people s illness.
The Prime Minister himself allowed Nawaz Sharif to go abroad. Nawaz Sharif will return the day Nawaz Sharif s doctors allow him, he added.
Ahsan Iqbal further said that Shahzad Akbar should state under which law the Prime Minister has the power to give NRO. He said we are ready to go to jail but will not bow down to government.
The PML-N leader said that where there was a question of national interest on FATF, we did not do politics like PTI.
