Even Nawaz Sharif's family knows he is healthy: Fawad Chaudhry
The Punjab government will interrogate Nawaz Sharif's medical reports, Fawad Chaudhry said.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has on Saturday said that even the family of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif knows that he is healthy, Dunya News reported.
The federal minister talked to media and said submitting fake reports is synonymous with committing fraud. The Punjab government will interrogate Nawaz Sharif’s medical reports to determine the responsible persons, he said.
“I had said earlier also that Nawaz Sharif is not sick and should not be given any relaxation. Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz share same problem.
“Maryam Nawaz and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif want all cases against them to be shut meanwhile Maryam and Nawaz want to destroy the politics of Shehbaz Sharif.
“Pakistan entered the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) grey list due to Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and PML-N. Shehbaz Sharif and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari cannot gather enough persons to fill a marriage hall in their combined rally.
“The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is an independent body. Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) President Fazal-ur-Rehman is running a party comprising rented crowd at the moment.”
Earlier today, Fawad Chaudhry said in a tweet that contact with the British government for Nawaz Sharif’s return and inquiry of medical reports are right decisions.
Fawad Chaudhry said that Nawaz Sharif’s departure to London has severely damaged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) narrative and the process of accountability.
The minister stressed that those who were involved in preparing fake medical reports of Nawaz Sharf should be given exemplary punishments.
