PPP wants to divide Karachi on linguistic grounds: Mustafa Kamal

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chief Mustafa Kamal has accused the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) of wanting to divide Karachi on linguistic grounds.

He said this on Friday during a protest against the creation of a new district in Karachi outside Karachi Press Club. Chairman PSP Mustafa Kamal reached the press club despite the rain and addressed the protesting crowd.

Addressing the protest, he said that those who wanted a new province have looted Karachi through local bodies for four years. The slogan of Sindh’s partition is only being used to cover up all their failures, he added.

Mustafa Kamal said that Karachi is Pakistan’s economic hub and it needs to be strengthened, we do not even accept the first six districts formed in Karachi, let alone a seventh one. He said that till date no one else has raised a voice for the people of Karachi.
