ECP to add over 3 million eligible citizens in electoral lists
The ECP has given extension of eighteen days in printing of final electoral lists.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has decided to add over three million eligible citizens in the electoral lists, Roznama Dunya reported on Wednesday.
According to details, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has been given directions in this regard so that all eligible persons could vote in next local bodies elections. The ECP has given extension of eighteen days in printing of final electoral lists.
Sources privy to the matter have informed Roznama Dunya that Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja chaired a meeting and approved to publish final lists on October 4 instead of September 16.
