Govt to plant one million saplings on Tiger Force Day: Usman Dar

Imran Khan will plant a sapling in Islamabad to mark Tiger Force Day.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar Saturday said the government will plant one million saplings on Tiger Force Day (August 9), Dunya News reported on Saturday.

The SAPM addressed a press conference at Press Information Department’s office and invited all opposition leaders including Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to join the campaign and plant trees for green Pakistan.

Usman Dar was accompanied by Punjab Secretary Forest, Muhammad Asif and PITB Chairman Azfar Manzoor.

The SAPM said that Prime Minister Imran Khan would plant a sapling on August 9 to mark Tiger Force Day in Islamabad, while Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and Governor Chaudhery Sarwar would plant saplings in Lahore. KPK Chief Minister, Governor Sindh, as well as federal/ provincial ministers and other government officials would also join the campaign.
