Senate unanimously passes resolution in solidarity with Kashmir

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A resolution has been unanimously passed by the Senate to show solidarity with Kashmiris.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi presented the resolution in the House.

The text of the resolution said that it strongly condemns the atrocities on Kashmiris. Indian actions pose a serious threat to peace and stability in South Asia. The resolution said that India could not change the legal status of occupied Kashmir. The BJP government is committed to the poisonous Hindutva ideology.

The resolution tells the Indian government that Occupied Kashmir is an internationally recognized disputed territory. It said India should give international observer’s access to Kashmir and India should immediately expel the occupying forces from Kashmir.
