Punjab govt recommends reopening of restaurants, marriage halls
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Punjab government has recommended to reopen nine different sectors including wedding halls, restaurants, parks, cinemas and theaters while ensuring strict compliance with coronavirus SOPs.
Speaking on the issue, Provincial Information Minister Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan said the recommendation has been forwarded but the final decision would be taken at a meeting of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC).
According to details, on direction of CM Usman Bazdar, a meeting of the anti-coronavirus cabinet committee was held at the Chief Minister’s House which briefed participants about various measures taken to curb the spread of coronavirus.
The Punjab government has recommended the federal government to reopen nine different departments under strict SOPs, Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan said.
