Govt unveils special postage stamp in connection with Yaum-e-Istehsal
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The government has unveiled a special postage stamp in connection with Youm-e-Istehsal to be observed on Wednesday to highlight the wave of terror unleashed by Modi government in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a news conference along with Minister for Communication Murad Saeed, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz said the stampage is aimed at sensitizing the world about the atrocities being committed in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Given the worldwide spread of the stampage, he said this symbolic step will send a very strong message to the international community.
The Information Minister said all forums including diplomatic and political ones are being used to expose the evil face of India before the world.
He appealed to the people to hoist National and Kashmiri flags on their homes so that Kashmiris realize that Pakistan stands by them.
On the occasion, Communications Minister Murad Saeed said that one year has passed since the brutal siege of occupied Kashmir under India s Hindutva agenda, therefore a commemorative ticket was issued today.
Highlighting the features of the stamp, Murad Saeed said that the chain in the postage stamp means that the whole of Kashmir has been cut off from the world by siege. In addition, the martyrdom of Bashir Ahmed, who was recently martyred in occupied Kashmir in front of his grandson, is reflected. While the uniformed terrorists of India are also shown in this ticket.
