'Local governments, waste management companies did great job during Eid'
Bilawal Bhutto and Murad Ali Shah should learn good governance from Usman Buzdar, Fayyaz Chohan said
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan Monday said that local governments, waste management companies and other concerned institutions did a great job during Eid-ul-Azha, Dunya News reported.
The hashtag “#Saaf_Punjab_Shukriya_Buzdar” [Clean_Punjab_Thankyou_Buzdar] introduced by the provincial minister remained top trend on Twitter.
Fayyaz Chohan maintained that thousands of people thanked CM Usman Buzdar and Punjab administration for best cleanliness arrangements. Locomotion was not disturbed due to proper drainage of rainwater in urban areas after downpours on Eid, he said.
“Everyone witnessed that the institutions performed their duties without any political interference and jugglery. Pakistan’s progress and better service delivery depend on strengthening of institutions.
“Shehbaz Sharif weakened the institutions for self-publicity in the past. Those workers who sacrificed their holidays are our real assets and pride.
“On the other hand, the Sindh government created false propagandas against Buzdar government to hide its own failures and the people of Sindh could not get rid of litter, animal remains and rainwater during Eid.
“Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, who always remain busy in criticism, should learn good governance from Sardar Usman Buzdar.”
