Youm-e-Istehsal will be observed on August 5, to express full solidarity with Kashmiris: Qureshi

MULTAN (Dunya News) – Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that this Eid-ul-Azha is different from the previous Eids and negligence on the festival could throw away all the hard work against novel coronavirus.

Talking to media after Eid prayer, Shah Mehmood Qureshi urged people to be careful on Eid-ul-Azha and said that Allah has granted success to Pakistan against coronavirus due to smart lockdown.

The foreign minister also announced that Youm-e-Istehsal will be observed on 5th of August to express full solidarity with the Kashmiri people of Illegally Indian Occupied Kashmir and one minute silence will be observed across the country to give message of peace on the day, followed by a solidarity march in Federal capital as well as provincial capitals.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi also announced to visit the Line of Control (LOC) on August 3 to give a clear message to India.
