LHC hears plea against appointments of PM's aides

LHC Chief Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan said federal government's position is weak.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) Wednesday conducted hearing on petition filed against appointments of sixteen advisers and special assistants to the prime minister, Dunya News reported.

The court directed the plaintiff’s counsel to annex appointment notifications. LHC Chief Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan said in his remarks that the federation’s position is weak in the light of the lawyer’s arguments.

Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan asked the federal government’s advocate to come prepared during the next hearing.
