Faisalabad: Police recover abducted girl, kidnapper held
A medical college student and daughter of a senior doctor was abducted from Faisalabad on July 27.
FAISALABAD (Dunya News) - The police on Tuesday have arrested a kidnapper and recovered a girl (a medical college student) who was abducted for ransom on July 27 from Faisalabad, Dunya News reported.
According to SSP Operations Faisalabad, daughter of a senior doctor from Faisalabad was abducted on July 27 and the kidnapper demanded Rs 20 million as ransom and the matter was settled with the accused for Rs 6 million.
Meanwhile, the family of the girl informed the police after which special police team was constituted. The police team while delivering the ransom money to the accused in Chiniot arrested him and also recovered the abducted girl.
