Housing society scandal: Khawaja Asif grilled for 1.5 hours by NAB

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) grilled Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Khawaja Muhammad Asif for one and a half hours in the Sialkot Cantt Housing Society scandal.

The PML-N leader appeared before the anti-corruption watchdog office in Lahore where he was interrogated about the sources through which he, along with family, made investment in the society.

Khawaja Asif handed over some relevant documents the anti-graft body. The NAB sources claimed that the PML-N leader, with connivance of the society management, got himself allotted 137 kanals.

It has further been alleged that the PML-N leader illegally occupied land of citizens and who had never sold their property to the society.
