CAA verifies licenses of 48 out of 54 pilots working in UAE

UAE has written a letter to Pakistani authorities seeking information of licenses of pilots

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has verified licenses of 48 out of 54 pilots working in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

According to details, in response to request by government of UAE to verify licensing credentials of pilots of Pakistani origin working in the emirates, CAA has cleared the licenses of majority of the pilots.

Earlier, United Arab Emirates (UAE) wrote a letter to Pakistani authorities seeking information of licensing credentials of pilots to make air travel and safe and secure. Licenses of aircraft engineers working in the UAE will also be verified, it stated.

The list of more than 50 pilots and four flight officers was also sent to the Pakistani authorities.
