Emergency wards in AJK hospitals shutdown after police arrest protesting doctors
Police arrested 23 doctors who were staging sit-in in Muzaffarabad for payment of their salaries.
MUZAFFARABAD (Dunya News) – The emergency wards in all hospitals in Azad Jammu and Kashmir were shutdown after police arrested 23 protesting doctors in Muzaffarabad on Thursday.
According to details, police baton charged and arrested 23 young doctors who were staging a sit-in for the past few days in front of AJK Assembly Muzaffarabad for the payment of their salaries.
After the arrest of their colleagues, Young Doctors Association AJK chapter shutdown emergency wards in all hospitals in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
