Govt passed Federal Budget despite United opposition: Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan has said that the government managed to pass the federal budget 2020-21 through National Assembly despite intense pressure by the united opposition, on which the Prime Minister and his team deserve congratulations.
Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan said that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s accountability drive has compelled the opposition to launch failed conspiracy theories about the government and its stability every other month.
The provincial information minister said that now that the budget has been passed, the entire united opposition will cut a sorry figure. He said that the opposition’s corrupt mob has shamelessly looted the country in their respective tenures. But now, under the leadership of CM Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar, the remaining steps in passing Punjab’s budget will also be completed soon.
