First batch of Pakistan-made ventilators prepared: Fawad Chaudhry
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry on Sunday has announced that first batch of Pakistan-made ventilators has been prepared.
In a post on social-networking website Twitter, the minister said that the ventilators will be handed over to National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in coming week while three more designs of lifesaving machine are in final phase.
Pakistan has finally included in the list of countries who can manufacture complicated medical machinery, he added.
The move came after global coronavirus cases exceeded 10 million, marking a major milestone in the spread of the respiratory disease that has so far killed almost half a million people in seven months.
