Worst-hit areas sealed to curb coronavirus spread: CM Buzdar
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that his government has sealed most affected areas to curb the spread of novel coronavirus in the province.
Usman Buzdar, during a meeting with members of Punjab Assembly of several districts, urged MPAs to monitor the implementation of government directives in their areas and said that full cooperation of people is necessary to reduce the spread of novel coronavirus.
The Chief Minister further said that violations of Standard Operating Procedures will not be tolerated and markets will be sealed for non-implementation of government’s orders.
During the meeting members of Punjab Assembly also apprised CM Usman Buzdar about the problems in their constituencies. Assuring MPAs of resolving their issues, the Chief Minister announced that development work in their constituencies would be done on priority basis.
