Matriculation results for Punjab to be announced in September
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab’s Provincial Minister for Higher Education Raja Yassir Humayun has said that matriculation results will be announced in September. He said that marking of the papers will resume this week and practicals will be graded based on marks obtained in theory exams.
In an exclusive interview with Dunya News, Raja Yassir Humayun said that the process of paper checking was halted due to coronavirus and is expected to resume this week after due permissions.
The provincial minister said more than one million students across Punjab are awaiting matriculation results which would be announced in 90 days once the permission is granted. He advised students to keep calm and not be worried.
According to sources, 275,000 students from Lahore have appeared for the matriculation examinations and 27 marking centers have been set up in the city. Chairman Lahore Board Riaz Hashmi has said that they will start marking papers as soon as permission is granted and the process will be completed within 90 days.
