Public cooperation extremely important to counter COVID-19: CM Buzdar
The provincial regime will not rest till COVID-19 is eliminated, CM Usman Buzdar said.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minsiter Sardar Usman Buzdar Thursday said public cooperation is extremely important to counter novel coronavirus. He stressed that the outbreak can be overcome by using mask and maintaining social distancing.
The chief minister expressed his views while meeting Members Provincial Assembly belonging to different districts of Punjab and said the worst-hit areas by the pandemic have been sealed.
“The localities where smart lockdown has been imposed will be reopened after controlling the epidemic. The provincial regime will not rest till COVID-19 is eliminated.
“Routine work can be done amidst coronavirus by taking precautions and every individual needs to take responsibility. The steps which the government is taking are for protection of people.”
Let it be known that the MPAs who called on CM Buzdar included Saleem Sarwar Jaura, Muhammad Arshad Chaudhry, Malik Ahmad Ali Aulakh, Mian Shafi Muhammad and Asif Majeed.
