LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Punjab government has recovered occupied land worth Rs 1.4 billion in six months on Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar’s direction, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.

The Anti Corruption Establishment Punjab is taking indiscriminate action against the mafia which has occupied government lands as the CM is determined to make the province corruption free.

The ACE received 2,809 complaints on its mobile app in six months following which 140 inquiries were initiated. The authorities also recovered Rs 1.7 million in cash.

Usman Buzdar said, “Positive results are coming regarding the complaints lodged through mobile app and citizens should use it for their safety.

“Punjab will continue to follow no-tolerance policy against corruption and it is the government’s foremost priority to eradicate this evil. We will go to the limit against land mafia.”
