Turkish President extends Eid-ul-Fitr greetings, best wishes to PM Imran over phone

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Imran Khan received a telephone call from Turkish President Erdogan on Monday with both exchanging greetings and best wishes for Eid-ul-Fitr.
The Turkish President also expressed his condolences to Imran Khan over the tragic Karachi plane crash and assured all possible help from the Turkish people in this difficult time.
Prime Minister Imran Khan briefed the Turkish President on the measures taken by Pakistan against coronavirus and thanked President Erdogan for providing medical equipment. He said that this assistance during difficult times was a reflection of the historical ties between the two countries. The two leaders also agreed to increase cooperation against the coronavirus.
Prime Minister Imran Khan spoke about Turkey s role in international debt relief in regards to the coronavirus situation, and discussed other economic issues as well. He said a comprehensive and workable plan was needed for stability and debt relief.
The Prime Minister also apprised the Turkish President of India’s actions against its Muslims under the garb of coronavirus control and said that the international community should reject India’s fascist policies.
Prime Minister Imran Khan also briefed the Turkish President on human rights violations in Indian occupied Kashmir and inhumane treatment of the muslim population saying that Kashmiris were facing a dual-lockdown in the occupied valley.
