Pakistan Bar Council demands opening of courts across country
PBC has said that the courts should be opened for the timely delivery of justice.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) on Tuesday demanded opening of courts across the country with immediate effect, Dunya News reported.
A declaration of Pakistan Bar Council was issued in this regard after the approval of Vice Chairman Pakistan Bar Council Abid Saqi, urging the Chief Justice of Pakistan and the Chief Justices of the provinces to issue orders regarding the opening of courts.
It was stated in the declaration that the Supreme Court of Pakistan has ordered the opening of markets and shopping plazas across Pakistan and no specific working hours have been set for shopping plazas and markets therefore the courts across Pakistan should also be opened immediately.
The declaration further said that the Chief Justice of Pakistan should give instructions for hearing of all cases across the country according to routine and the courts should be opened for the timely delivery of justice.
