762 new cases of corona virus reported in Punjab, total stands at 15,346
There have been a total of 260 deaths from the corona virus so far in Punjab
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Primary and secondary health care department has reported 762 new cases of coronavirus in the province, 503 of which have been reported in Lahore, the highest among all cities.
The reported new cases are 5 in Nankana, 7 in Kasur, 16 in Sheikhupura, 78 in Rawalpindi, 7 in Jhelum and just one in Attock. Other than that, 25 new cases were reported in Gujranwala, 16 in Sialkot, 2 in Hafizabad, 18 in Mandi Bahauddin, 16 in Multan, 8 in Khanewal and 2 in Vehari.
According to the Health Care department spokesperson, 13 new cases were reported in Faisalabad, 1 in Toba, 3 in Jhang, 6 in Rahim Yar Khan, 10 in Sargodha and 1 in Khushab while Bahawalnagar reported 3, Bahawalpur 2, Lodhran 1, DG Khan 8, Sahiwal 8 and Okara 2 new cases.
There have been a total of 260 deaths from the corona virus so far and a total of 168,940 tests have been conducted. The spokesman called on the public to take precautionary measures to protect themselves.
