CM Buzdar attends Iftar dinner at DG Khan Police Line
The SOPs issued by health department were ignored during Iftar dinner hosted in honour of CM Buzdar.
DERA GHAZI KHAN (Dunya News) - The standard operating procedures (SOPs) issued by Punjab Health Department for prevention of coronavirus were set aside when Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar attended an Iftar Dinner hosted in his honour at the Dera Khazi Khan Police Line on Thursday, Dunya News reported.
Upon his arrival at the Police Line, guard of honour was presented to CM Buzdar by a smart contingent of police. The chief minister also laid floral wreath at the Martyrs Monument.
Afterwards, CM Buzdar attended the Iftar dinner. Members of National Assembly and Provincial Assembly, Additional IG Punjab, Commissioner Dera Ghazi Khan Division, RPO, Deputy Commissioner, heads of some provincial departments and a large number of police officials were also present on the occasion.
It is pertinent to mention here that the SOPs issued by the health department for the prevention of coronavirus were totally ignored as 10 to 12 persons were sitting around each table during the Iftar dinner.
