Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan declares Shehbaz a coward for skipping NA session
He said a coward shouldnt be given right to rule or lead a party.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan on Monday termed Leader of Opposition in National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif a coward after the later decided not attended the National Assembly session for debate on one-point agenda, i.e. to discuss the measures taken by the federal and provincial governments to help deal with the novel coronavirus pandemic.
While taking a jibe at the opposition leader, he said that Shehbaz Sharif returned to Pakistan to fight the pandemic but he has confined himself to one room since his return.
The provincial minister said that he has never seen a coward like the PML-N president, adding that neither there was any benefit of his return from London nor he has the courage to come out of his room.
Chohan went on to say that the opposition demanded to summon a session of the National Assembly and the opposition leader is on rest.
“A coward shouldn’t be given right to rule or lead a party,” he added.
Earlier today, the Punjab information minister said over 6000 camps have been formed in Punjab to facilitate the coronavirus patients.
The provincial minister said in his statement that Buzdar government is providing every possible relief to the poor. He further added that the families already registered at 8070 will benefit from the aid program.
It is pertinent here to mention that Punjab is the worst-hit province by novel coronavirus in Pakistan as 11,568 persons have been tested positive for the pandemic in the province.
