Applicants queue up in total disregard to Coronavirus precautions at NADRA Centers
People have been found shrugging off precautionary measures as prescribed by the government.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – With reopening of National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) offices across country after lockdown, people started to throng service centers to avail computerized national identification card (CNIC) related services.
A large number of applicants are turning up to undertake a mandatory biometric verification of their CNIC who are entitled to the financial help under Ehsas Kifalat Program amid coronavirus crisis.
On resumption of NADRA offices after around a month, people have been found shrugging off precautionary measures as prescribed by the government and are observing long queues ignoring compulsory minimum distance next to each other to avoid possible contraction with the virus.
The NADRA offices will remain operational from 10:00am to 4:00pm from Monday to Thursday while the timing on Friday will be from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
