CM Buzdar directs to not cut salaries of doctors
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has directed not to cut salaries of doctors for Chief Minister Corona Relief Fund.
According to details, CM Usman Buzdar took notice of salary cuts of doctors for Corona Relief Fund and said that doctors are playing their role against coronavirus on the frontline. He directed to return the deducted amount and ordered to issue notification of allowance equal to salaries of health care workers.
According to statement issued by Punjab government, frontline medical workers will receive double salary from April 1 for performing corona duty. Government has also announced life insurance and martyrs package of up Rs8 million for frontline medical workers.
