Karachi: KMC-run hospital confirms first death from coronavirus
The deceased was under treatment at the CCU-2 Ward of Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - First death from the novel coronavirus has been reported at a Karachi Municipal Corporation (KMC)-run hospital on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the deceased having heart ailment was under treatment at the CCU-2 Ward of Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases. He was tested positive for the COVID-19.
Sources said that the CCU-2 Ward of Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases has been shutdown and 16 health workers working at the ward have been quarantined.
