Coronavirus is Allah's wrath, must seek His forgiveness: Maulana Tariq Jameel
Maulana stressed the importance of saving lives in Islam
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Famous Religious Scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel has said we cannot fight coronavirus as Allah does not like this word.
He expressed these view during Prime Minister’s Ehsaas telethon to collect fund for Corona Relief Fund. He said that Allah has shaken the world with a tiny virus. We should control vulgarity to stop spread of coronavirus.
He stressed “No calamity can be fought with lies and speak truth even if it takes your life. Coronavirus will disappear if we start following even one hadith of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).”
Maulana Tariq Jameel also said that if visiting mosques increases spread of the disease, then saving lives is also an important part of Islam. He quoted the example of how Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) told people to pray inside their homes because of torrential rain, so when lives are on the line, they should definitely be given the preference.
Maulana said that lies, dishonesty and immorality destroy nations and wished that Imran Khan may succeed in leading Pakistan through these difficult times.
