Karachi: 10 injured in Ghas Mandi firing incident

According to the police, 10 people were injured when unidentified gunmen opened fire near the Sarya Gali in Ghas Mandi. The injured were shifted to the Civil Hospital for medical assistance.The police claim that initial reports of the incident were of a grenade being used but after police arrived and investigated the incident, it was revealed to be a firing incident.On the other hand, after receiving news of the incident, police, rangers and rescue workers arrived at the scene as the neighborhood was gripped in fear. Residents closed down the markets and shops in the area.After initial investigations, police claimed that the incident occurred due to a rivalry between two groups.
