Imam and PM discussed matters regarding smuggling of wheat.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Minister for National Food Security Syed Fakhar Imam on Thursday has called on Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan in Islamabad.

During the meeting, both the leaders discussed matters regarding smuggling of wheat and strategies for improving the quality of flour.

Earlier, Minister for National Food Security Syed Fakhar Imam said that Pakistan is producing 90 per cent of edibles items except cooking oil.

The government has allocated 50 billion rupees just for Ramazan package to facilitate the people, he told.

The minister said that the whole world is facing the crisis of COVID-19 and trying to control it by taking different measures against it.
