Fire gutted cloth godown in Karachi
Cloth and other valuables worth million of rupees were destroyed by the fire.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Fire erupted at a cloth godown situated at the third and fourth floor of a building near Motandas Market in Saddar area of Karachi on Friday which spread very quickly and engulfed entire godown and other nearby shops, Dunya News reported.
Six fire brigade vehicles reached the spot after being informed and brought the fire under control after a hectic effort of one hour. Rescue sources informed that the cause of fire is not yet known.
Rescue sources said that no casualty was reported in the incident, however, cloth and other valuables worth million of rupees were destroyed by the fire.
