Earthquake jolts Muzaffarabad, Jhelum and suburban areas
People came out of their homes in panic and started reciting verses from the Holy Quran.
MUZAFFARABAD (Dunya News) - An earthquake on late Thursday night jolted Muzaffarabad and its adjoin areas. The tremor was also felt in Jhelum, Neelum Valley and Bagh in Azad Kashmir, Dunya News reported.
People came out of their homes in panic and started reciting verses from the Holy Quran. No loss of life and property was reported from any area due to earthquake.
According to National Seismic Monitoring Centre, Islamabad, the epicenter of the quake which struck on Thursday night was at Afghanistan-Tajikistan border region at the depth of 217 kilometres.
