Coronavirus can spread due to govt's failures, warns Qamar Zaman Kaira
LAHORE (Dunya News) – President of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Punjab Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that coronavirus can spread due to government’s failure; however, lockdown helped in controlling spread of the virus.
Qamar Zaman Kaira was addressing a meeting of divisional and district presidents of the party via video link. He said that it is unfortunate for Pakistan that PM was not able to take right decisions on time.
The PPP leader said federal government did not adopt a strategy on time and on the other hand Sindh led the response to coronavirus under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto. PM never praised efforts of Sindh government, he added.
He also demanded that the government should distribute money to the needy through Benazir Income Support Program (BISP).
