UC Manga to be de-sealed after 109 patients tested negative for coronavirus

Mardan Deputy Commissioner Abid Wazir has directed to clean the UC Manga with disinfectant sprays.

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The provincial authorities on Monday have decided to reopen Mardan’s Union Council Manga after 109 patients tested negative for deadly coronavirus that has tightened its grip across the globe.

According to details, Mardan Deputy Commissioner Abid Wazir has directed to clean the UC with disinfectant sprays before de-sealing it.  

The decision to de-seal parts of the union council was taken after a high-level meeting in the wake of improved situation in Manga.

On the other hand, Pakistan has reported 50 deaths from novel coronavirus while the total number of cases has surged to 3277.

1493 patients have been tested positive for the epidemic in Punjab, 881 in Sindh, 405 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 210 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 191 in Balochistan, 82 in Islamabad and 15 in Azad Kashmir.

So far, 257 patients have recovered in the country while 17 are in critical condition.
