Several Pakistanis stranded in Istanbul after suspension of flight operations
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Several Pakistanis have been stranded in Istanbul after Pakistan suspended flight operations to tackle coronavirus.
Some Pakistanis, who had a connecting flight from Turkey, are stranded at Istanbul Airport due to suspension of flights.
The travelers say that they do not know when they will return to Pakistan and requested government to take steps to bring them back.
On the other hand, Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has given one-time permission to Qatar Airlines to bring back Pakistanis stranded in Doha.
It is pertinent to mention here that in a bid to contain spread of coronavirus, the government of Pakistan has decided to suspend international flight operations for two weeks.
