Coronavirus: Public dealing at NADRA, passport offices suspended for 15 days

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Interior Ministry on Thursday banned public dealing at the Excise and Taxation Office, National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) and passport offices for 15 days, Dunya News reported.

The decision to ban public dealing at these offices was taken as part of precautionary measures against the spread of novel coronavirus in the country.

Earlier in the day, Interior Ministry has closed Wagah Border in order to curb the spread of deadly coronavirus in the country. According to the notification issued by the ministry, the border will remain shut for two weeks. The notification further stated that the suspension of activities at the border is in the best interest of both Pakistan and India.
