Shahbaz Gill rebuffs rumors of lockdown due to coronavirus
PTI leader said that avoiding crowded places is more important than wearing masks
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shahbaz Gill on Sunday clarified that government has not decided to lockdown any province or a city due to coronavirus outbreak.
In a video message, Shahbaz Gill said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is holding regular meetings to review situation of coronavirus in the country. He also urged people to avoid over-buying as PM Imran has issued special instructions to ensure supply of food items.
PTI leader said that avoiding crowded places is more important than wearing masks. He also informed that Pakistan is importing ventilators from China in phases.
He also urged people to only get tested on advice of a doctor as world is facing shortage of testing kits.
