NAB summons Rana Sanaullah, Mian Javed Latif.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders Rana Sanaullah and Mian Javed Latif on March 6 and 13 respectively, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
Rana Sanaullah and Mian Javed Latif have received the NAB notices. It has been learnt through sources that both PML-N leaders are not cooperating with the anti-corruption watchdog under the garb of the NAB (Amendment) Ordinance.
The anti-graft body’s investigation team has directed Rana Sanaullah to reappear before it over non-cooperation and incomplete answers to the asked questions. Rana Sanaullah is insisting that the value of his property should be assessed as per the DC rate when it was bought.
The NAB is facing difficulties to continue the proceedings as the PML-N leader is not providing the required details. The anti-graft watchdog has also decided to included Rana Sanaullah’s son-in-law and other family members in the ongoing interrogation.
