Oil tanker overturns in Karachi
According to rescue sources, no casualty was reported in the accident.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – An oil tanker overturned due to over-speeding at the National Highway in Gulshan-e-Hadeed area of Karachi on late Tuesday night, spilling 15,000 litres of oil on the road, Dunya News reported.
Police, fire brigade and rescue teams reached the spot and blocked one track of the National Highway to avoid any untoward incident while the other track remained open for the traffic.
The driver of the oil tanker managed to escape from the scene while the cleaner of the tanker was arrested by Police. According to rescue sources, no casualty was reported in the accident.
