Pole-mounted transformer catches fire in Karachi
A fire brigade vehicle doused the fire after power supply of the area was disconnected by K-Electric
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Fire broke out at a pole-mounted transformer (PMT) at the New Charlie Road area of Karachi caught fire on late Monday night, Dunya News reported.
According to eye-witnesses, the fire also damaged a pick-up parked nearby due to short-circuit in the electric cable caused by the PMT fire.
The K-Electric was informed about the fire but their staff reached the spot late. A fire brigade vehicle brought the fire under control after power supply of the area was disconnected by the K-Electric.
