Cold drinks banned in all schools of Islamabad
The ban on cold drinks will apply to all public and private schools and Madaris in Islamabad.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - All types of cold drinks have been banned in all schools of the federal capital Islamabad on the instruction of district administration, Dunya News reported on Thursday.
The ban on cold drinks will apply to all public and private schools and Madaris in the federal capital for a period of two months while section 144 has also been imposed.
It is pertinent to mention here that before imposing the ban a poll was conducted on social media in which 91 per cent people voted in favour of the ban.
Giving his views on the issue, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad said that according to World Health Organization (WHO) reports, such drinks are harmful for the children.
