PAF plane on routine training mission crashes near Mardan
The pilot of the aircraft remained safe, while no human or financial loss was reported.
MURDAN (Dunya News) – An aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) crashed while on a routine operational training mission crashed near Mardan on Wednesday.
According to statement issued on Wednesday, the PAF spokesperson said that the plane was on routine training when it crashed.
The pilot of the aircraft remained safe, while no human or financial loss was reported.
The pilot was shifted to local hospital for medical assistance.
The Air Headquarters has constituted a committee to find out the causes behind the jet crash incident.
This was the second incident in less than a week after a trainer jet of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) had also crashed near Shorkot on Friday.
The pilot ejected safely and remained unharmed in the incident. PAF spokesperson told that the Mirage jet was on a routine operational training mission flight.
Furthermore, no loss of life or property has been reported on ground. The Air Headquarters has formulated a high-level committee to determine the cause of the accident.
