Summary Khawaja Asif accused the government of destroying the economy
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Khawaja Asif said that his party will not be part of any conspiracy to bring change in the house.
During his address at National Assembly, Khawaja Asif said that PML-N wants that people, who become members of this house, are not a product of rigging.
Reiterating his party’s commitment to the supremacy of the constitution, he said that PML-N will not be part of any conspiracy or deal and his party would wait for the current government to leave due to corruption and rising inflation.
PML-N leader reminded the house about his previous statement that ‘this wrestler will fall from his own weight’ and said that times are changing for PTI as media which used to give eight hours a day to PTI is now talking about inflation in the country.
While criticizing government, he said that people who voted for PTI are now regretting their decision. He also said that MNAs of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf used to take salaries despite resigning from the NA.
He said that rulers’ lust for power and wealth will be the reason of their downfall. He added that opposition did not do anything against the government; these rulers are their own enemies.
In his address, Khawaja Asif accused government of destroying the economy and said that PTI has made the country a haven for sugar and flour mafia as beneficiaries of the crises are current government’s patrons. Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in its report on the wheat and sugar crises had named the people responsible for the crises, he added.
