Calling attention notice submitted in NA Secretariat over PM Imran's salary statement
PM Imran earlier said that it was hard for him to bear his household expenditures.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has submitted a calling attention notice in National Assembly Secretariat following the statement of Prime Minster Imran Khan about difficulty in bearing his expenses in his current salary.
The notice is signed by assembly members Khel Das, Maiza Hameed, Tahira Bukhari and others. The notice states that how will they be able to survive on their payroll when even the premier cannot afford his expenditures.
It further states if a raise in PM Imran’s salary is being considered as he said it was difficult for him to bear his expenses.
On Jan 20, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the salary he receives does not cover expenses of his home and he supported his household expenditures on his own, and had set up no camp office.
